A few days ago I posted the basic information about this Wake County farm. Because it is so convenient to Raleigh, I wanted to add some pictures of the horse facilities.
The barn has three big stalls and a work/storage area. The stalls have solid, wood and iron sliding doors, and earth floors with shavings. Two stalls have direct access to the paddock.
The barn’s large center aisle is useful for grooming and tacking up. Equipment storage is possible inside, however there is a covered area outside the paddock perfect for a tractor, horse trailer, or mower (or even covered storage for a boat!) The equipment area is outside of the fencing for ease of use and to prevent access from your horses.
By adding a little fence (about 60 feet) additional livestock would have access to this shed. If you are looking for a place to house a little friend for your horses (donkey, pony, etc.) this could be the perfect spot.
