These central North Carolina horse farms sold in late summer and early fall, 2013:
80 Mountain Laurel Place: This Harnett County farm sat on almost seven and a half acres of land, and featured a one-and-a-half story, 1770 square foot home. The horse facilities included a 20×56 foot barn and nice pastures fenced with mostly white vinyl fence. It sold for $245,000.
112 Talicud Trail: This 3600 square foot, brick ranch-style home had a full basement. It is in a horsey Wake County neighborhood. The new owners will need to add a barn and fencing, however there is already some established grass for pastures. It sold for $440,000.
7804 Apex Barbeque Road: This Wake County, horse-ready property has a lovely two-story home on over four acres which was almost entirely fenced pasture. There is a run in shed and a small barn for tack and feed. It is a five minute trailer drive to the American Tobacco Trail. It sold for $503,000.
7000 Daniel Road, Wake Forest: With over 3200 square feet and tasteful decor, this home, located in northen Wake County, was special. The barn is horse ready with eight stalls ready for horses, and a similar amount of open space in which tack rooms, grooming areas and feed storage can be added. The pastures have direct access from the barn and are fenced with braid fence. The property sold for $465,000.
