Horse facilities at 3613 Bentgrass Court, Apex, NC

3613 Bentgrass Court

Barn at 3613 Bentgrass Court

Three-stall barn with tack room

This Wake County horse farm has horses living on the property now, so it will be ready for your horses on move-in day.  The barn has three large stalls and a tack room with plenty of rooms for saddles and food.  There is also a “medicine chest” over the water heater.

Large stalls

The pasture is fenced with one dividing fence in the middle.  You can keep horses separated, or leave a gate open so they can mingle.  Either way, the placement of the run in sheds gives shelter on rainy days.

The fenced riding ring is big enough to set up some jumps  or to practice 20-meter figure eights.  Trail riding is a possibility on quiet streets or on a trail that runs around the property.  In addition, there is a gas easement to ride on, and trails to abandoned fields as well.  Trailering to Umstead Park and the American Tobacco Trail is about 1/2 hour to each.

With about 4 acres of land, you have plenty of elbow room and distance from neighboring properties.  The land is a variety of pasture, pond, and woods.  The gas easement runs across the land, and some of the fencing can be dismantled if ever needed.  Many of the neighbors have horses.

About A Cain

I am originally from New York State and moved to Pennsylvania for college and graduate school. My husband and I later lived in California and West Virginia, and then we were transferred to North Carolina. I learned to ride as an adult, in North Carolina. I have two horses now: one wild-and-wooly teenager who is learning from me, and one former race horse that has turned into a school master for me. They are both pretty sensible and great on trails, so we go everywhere. They live with me on my own North Carolina mini farm. I love to sit on my deck in the evening and watch them graze.
